2009 January Abu Dhabi: World Future Energy Summit
During the World Future Energy Summit, in Abu Dhabi, 19-21 January 2009, a SolarConvect® model of a solar chimney has been presented as an "opener" of the Holland stand. The Dutch royal family was represented by the Crown Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima, the Dutch government by the Secretary of State, Frank Heemskerk. The constructor of the chimney, the company Microjoules Systems, was represented by its president Dirk van Toledo, giving a short description of the SolarConvect® model.
